Minneapolis Pop Up Food Shelves
- 2,331 Dollars
Following the riots in Minneapolis many stores were closed down, making it extremely difficult for residents without cars to access food and necessity items. Because of this, for a two week period many pop up food shelves were created to assist those in need. FEED MN assisted this effort by first coordinating with the pop up food shelves to determine what items were needed most. On June 5th, 2020 we started a fundraiser through our Instagram and our founder's Instagram (Anderson Breazeale). Hundreds of people from around the country donated, totaling a sum of $2,331. All funds were used to buy the items most needed in the most cost effective way possible. All funds were accounted for via receipts and all food / items were donated to pop up food shelves in Minneapolis!
